Mia Khalifa was born on February 10, 1993 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, into a family of Lebanese Maronite Catholics. Her father adheres to conservative views, being a supporter of the Republican Party of the USA and the Lebanese Forces party (after the terrorist attack in Beirut in 2012, wanting to encourage her parents, Mia tattooed a cross-shaped symbol of this party).

In 2000, Mia’s family moved to the USA. As a teenager, she settled in Montgomery County, Maryland and enrolled in Northwest High School. She then graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
